The ITS startup has achieved the ASEAN Digital Awards 2024, and this award is given to businesses, organizations, or individuals who have pioneered innovative products or services and made significant contributions in the digital field in the Southeast Asian region. In this event, a startup originating from ITS has carved out an achievement.

The startup, known as INCLUDE Technology, founded by students from the Sepuluh Nopember Institute of Technology (ITS), has once again succeeded in achieving international recognition. This time, at the Southeast Asian regional level through the Bronze Winner award in the Private Sector category at the ASEAN Digital Awards (ADA) 2024, also contributing to Indonesia becoming the overall champion in this prestigious event.

ADA is an award given to businesses, organizations, or individuals who have pioneered innovative products or services and made significant contributions in the digital field in the Southeast Asian region. The ADA 2024 awards were presented during the Gala Dinner of The 4th ASEAN Digital Ministers Meeting (ADGMIN) at Gardens by the Bay, Singapore, in early February. Previously, this startup had also won the 3rd place in the University Startup World Cup 2023 organized by Venture Cup Denmark in September 2023.

CEO of INCLUDE Technology, Singgih Ardiansyah, explained that INCLUDE Technology is the first end-to-end smart Internet of Things (IoT) solution company in Indonesia, focusing on reducing machine downtime and improving industrial efficiency. "Our service consists of an ecosystem that can help overcome downtime in industries by providing warnings, data, and predictive analysis of machine conditions," he said, as quoted from the ITS website.

Furthermore, Singgih believes that INCLUDE Technology's journey to ADA 2024 has been quite long, starting in 2022. At that time, the team under the guidance of lecturer Muhammad Nurif SE MT secured the 1st place in the Private Sector category at the Indonesia Entrepreneur TIK (IdenTIK) 2022 event. This achievement gave INCLUDE Technology the opportunity to participate in the curation process and be selected to represent Indonesia at ADA 2024 alongside several other teams.

Through a lengthy online curation process, finally, in November 2023, INCLUDE Technology was announced as a finalist for ADA 2024 in the Private Sector category. Alongside four other Indonesian finalists, INCLUDE Technology had the opportunity to present offline in front of the 13 final ADA 2024 judges on the awards night.

For their achievement, Singgih and the team, who are still students, feel proud and grateful to be able to compete at a professional level. He hopes that their innovative ideas can continue to benefit various fields in the vast industrial world. "Hopefully, our innovation can continue to be useful for the industrial world in Indonesia," said the student from Purbalingga full of hope.
