Visit to the Regional Personnel Administration Agency (MPP) of Cirebon Regency, Minister of PANRB Encourages Impactful and Uncomplicated Services

In this activity, Minister Anas observed various integrated services within the Regional Personnel Administration Agency (MPP) and ensured that public services run smoothly.

Minister of State Apparatus Empowerment and Bureaucratic Reform (PANRB) Abdullah Azwar Anas conducted a working visit to Cirebon Regency on Monday (04/03). Amidst the visit, Minister Anas took the time to review several public services available at the Public Service Mall (MPP) in Cirebon Regency. Minister Anas requested that the public services provided be beneficial and have a direct impact on the community.

"Because what matters is the impact, so the President gives directions on how bureaucracy should have an impact and not be convoluted. Perhaps in the future, it needs to be evaluated whether there is still complexity here. Ideally, people come here directly, get things done, and there are no further issues," he said as quoted in the PANRB press release.

To support the implementation of integrated services, 37 agencies have joined with 126 types of services integrated into the MPP, which was inaugurated since July 2023. The thirty-seven agencies consist of 9 vertical agencies, 9 SOEs (State-Owned Enterprises), 13 Regency OPDs (Regional Offices), 2 Provincial OPDs, and 2 private entities.

Based on the number of visitors and the average number of visitors per day, the MPP in Cirebon Regency is not yet included in the Top 10 MPPs. Therefore, Minister Anas requested that the Cirebon Regency Government continue to optimize service delivery.

"In the future, this Public Service Mall could be the people's choice because when the people come directly, many matters can be resolved. The highest number of services per day can reach up to 4,000. So usually, if I see the motorcycle parking lot full, it means the MPP is busy," he explained.

It is noted that the number of visitors to the MPP in Cirebon Regency from August 2023 to February 2024 was 1,867 visitors, averaging 266 people per month or about 53 people per week.

During the event, Minister Anas also emphasized the importance of integrated digital services at the Digital MPP. Currently, there are two main services: population administration services and healthcare worker permit services. It is hoped that in the future, Cirebon Regency can implement the Digital MPP.

"My hope is that we improve, this can be optimized. Currently, some have already entered the Digital MPP, meaning that for people who are ready with their Digital ID, they don't need to come to this place anymore; they can simply use their mobile phones," he added.

Minister Anas also urged the Cirebon Regency Government to carry out comprehensive digital service transformation. Digital Population Identity (IKD) is considered the main key to integrating all services. With IKD, all data is recorded with just one identity, eliminating the need for individuals to re-enter their personal data.
