Minister of PANRB is optimistic that digital transformation can reach even the remotest villages.

Prioritizing integration and interoperability, the government is committed to realizing quality and trustworthy public services for all Indonesian citizens.

Minister of State Apparatus Empowerment and Bureaucratic Reform (PANRB) Abdullah Azwar Anas is optimistic that the government's accelerated digital transformation will extend to the remotest villages. Ministers Anas and Abdul Halim Iskandar of the Ministry of Village, Development of Disadvantaged Regions, and Transmigration (PDTT) are mapping services from the PDTT Ministry that can be consolidated into a single portal.

"We, along with Minister PDTT, agree on the importance of service interoperability in the Ministry of Village. In the future, we will jointly encourage interoperability to further facilitate the public," he said after meeting Minister PDTT Abdul Halim Iskandar in Jakarta on Thursday (02/01).

The spirit of digital transformation in various aspects is demonstrated through the development of a national portal that will encompass nine priority services in the initial stage. Additionally, the government has appointed the state-owned enterprise Peruri as the Government Technology that will organize the Electronic-Based Government System (SPBE) applications for priority services owned by Ministries and Government Institutions, including Education Services, Health Services, Social Assistance Services, Population Administration Services, State Financial Transaction Services, Government Administration Services, Public Service Portal, Indonesian Single Data Service, and Police Services.

Prioritizing integration and interoperability, the government is committed to realizing quality and trustworthy public services for all Indonesian citizens, supporting the four main pillars of digital transformation: infrastructure, governance, economy, and digital society. These pillars must synergize to make Indonesia one of the world's largest economies by 2045.

During the same occasion, Minister PDTT Abdul Halim Iskandar expressed his department's readiness to support digital transformation. He mentioned that services in villages have been fragmented, making it challenging for people to fully benefit. "So, the Ministry of Village used to have many applications, including in villages. Some were made by the villages, some by the districts, and some by third parties. Currently, we are working to integrate everything into one portal as directed by the President through the Minister of PANRB," he emphasized.
